We’re excited to introduce a touch of color into our finest dress shirts, in this case, a light gray poplin for our best-selling Kent tall-spread collar shirt. The Kent is part of our Classic Collection, a selection of timeless dress shirts with crisp collars and refined finishes in solid white, pink, or blue. (And now, light gray :)
Featuring a stately tall spread collar and Convertible cuffs—easily worn buttoned, rolled up, or dressed up with cufflinks—the Kent is suitable for both professional and casual occasions as well as post-event unwinding.
This Kent shirt is cut from a light gray two-ply poplin cotton fabric.

Fabric
is a rare variety of cotton that is renowned as some of the best in the world. It has an extra long staple, which means it has longer fibers, resulting in a silkier, more durable fabric. Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other. This results in a very smooth and durable fabric that has an almost silky hand feel, particularly with higher thread counts. Also, poplin looks very crisp when ironed.
